1)worry是动词，可用作及物动词和不及物动词。做及物动词时,意为”使烦恼”,后接宾语,表示人的代词或名词。做不及物动词时,常与about、that等词连用。
2)worried可表示形容词，是系表结构的短语，意为担忧的、担心的、发愁的”,主语一般是人,worrying,adj.,意思是‘令人担忧的，令人担心的’主语一般为事物，原形都是worry,v.,意思是‘担心’。
3)另外worried也可以表示是worry的过去式。一般情况下，worry 常用 worry (about)sth./sb. ；worried 常用 be worried about sth./sb.(在这里，worried是作为形容词)。
are worried 和 be worried about 都是表示被动
而学生是去担心却不是被别人担心
因而不能有被动
worry做及物动词时翻译为使担心 使焦虑
worrying为令人担心 worried 为感到担心
例如 a very worrying state of affairs
令人非常担心的事情
做名词时意为担心 烦恼 忧虑
例如 She is a great source of worry to her parents
她是令父母忧心的最大根源

worry about表示担心某事，为某事烦恼，其中的 worry 是不及物动词。

不要为小事烦恼。
be worried 表示被某事缠扰，困扰。其中worry 是及物动词，后面跟不跟 about 并不是重点。
两者区别不大

这里用“担心”比较好。
